Pets are caught monsters during an adventure.
Pets retain 50% of their original damage and 75% of their original HP.
To catch a pet, you need to be at least level 5, and have a Butterfly Net.
If you meet both these conditions, you can catch a pet during an adventure with the #!catch
command.
Note: Crafting a butterfly net actually requires level 12 for string. As an alternative you may buy the Butterfly Net from the global market and use it at level 5.
The catch rate for pets is ((user.level*5.678)/10)
percent. In other words, the higher level you are, the more likely you will succeed.
As of August 22nd, 2017, with a new attribute update, Taming is the new stat that affects catch rate for pets, however the exact formula is unknown. The formula will be added when it is released.
Catching a new pet will give it 20% of its needed XP to its next level.
Catching a new pet will replace your previous pet, resulting in losing your old pet and its XP.
Cooldown: 30 seconds
To heal a pet, use the #!pheal [amount]
command. You can also use #!pheal auto
to fully heal your pet automatically.
You can change the item used in #!pheal using #!pset HealItem [Item]
Cooldown: 30 seconds
To level a pet up, user first needs to set xprate using the #!pset
command.
After that, it'll get that percentage of the XP from the current adventure.
If the pet is dead when starting the adventure or if the pet dies during the adventure, it won't get any XP.
When the pet levels up, it'll get an additional 50 max HP, and an additional 10% of pet level to min and max damage.
The damage added is calculated using the following formula:
Math.floor(pet.level*0.10)

Discussion
Just encountered a monster not on the list.
Bilim 940hp
!======[ Lals ]======! + 354/870 HP + 30-50 Damage + Owner: Daily Jay + Type: Lals + Level: 24 + XP: 4,200/21,000 + XP Rate: 25% !====================!
!======[ Ixekovese ]======! + 576/804 HP + 27-46 Damage + Owner: Daily Jay + Type: Ixekovese + Level: 22 + XP: 3,562/17,710 + XP Rate: 10% !=========================!
Also, you are able to heal your pet using other items, you just have to do #!pset healItem <item>. I'm using lemons at the moment, and will change up later.
If the enemy you are attacking/trying to catch; isn't on the above list, don't catch it, it will be a low damage dealer. i got caught out by this earlier. Swapped a Mytmat for a Crycs, went from minimum 32 dmg to minimum of 6.
Has anybody done the math, and seen what's better? Is it better to catch a Flibknort, and level it up, or is it better to catch the other pets at level 31, 41, etc?
It seems to take quite a while to level a Flibknort, since it takes 13k exp from lv 21 to lv 22. So, is it worth it, or are we better off catching the others?
From what I can tell, Flibknort deals the highest damage at the same level. The one that comes very close to it is Green Dragon. Green Dragon's min damage will always be a few points lower than Flibknort, but Green Dragon has the advantage of having way higher max damage (at least from what I can tell up to level 54), and due to RNG its average damage will likely be more than Flibknort.
Oh right, Green Dragon also has way more health too. I don't have data of them at level 100, but I have data of them at level 54.
Comparison of Flibknort and Green Dragon at level 54:
UPDATE: Here's how it goes at level 93 for Green Dragon: HP: 7775 min DMG: 412 max DMG: 537
All pets are pretty much the same with different starting stats. That difference doesn't scale at all so the higher level your pet becomes the less of a difference you'll see. All pets gain 0 atk from lvls 1-10, 1 atk lvls 11-20, 2 atk lvls 21-30, etc. The reason Flibknort requires so much exp at lvl 21 is because that's the cumulative exp required to get from 1-21, except that you get 20% exp given to you.
Flibknort is a great pet as well as Green Dragon. Still, at high levels the difference between pets becomes negligible. For example, Rock at lvl 1000 deals 49500-49500 Damage and Green Dragon at level 1000 deals 49525-49650.
!======== [Anatolia's Mercenary's adventure] ========! % Rolled a 2 - Lost 11 HP. + Dealt 16 HP Damage + Joshua O'Brien dealt 13 HP damage. - Joshua O'Brien took 5 HP Damage. + Joshua O'Brien has 683/750 HP left + Anatolia's Mercenary has 478/500 HP left. + The enemy Zeil has 147/200 HP left. !========================================================!
Has the issue with Lvl 22 and higher monster's not dealing the correct damage been fixed yet? My buddy happen to stumble across one that was dealing 3-4 damage at like 1050+ hp.
This is still not a bug, it's dynamobs.
I can't seem to use the pset command. it keeps coming up with this
[11:49 PM] Scoobylegend: #!pset 10 [11:49 PM] BOTDiscordRPG: Scoobylegend, please tell me what you'd like to do.
What is it that you're trying to do? You have to put the name of the command after it. For example, if you want to set the XP transfer rate you would type #!pset xprate [number]. Or if you want to set the name, you type #!pset name [name].
I had the following pet:
+ 748/750 HP + 42-47 Damage + Type: Flibknort + Level: 21 + XP: 4,073/16,170 + XP Rate: 30%
And then caught this one thinking it would have more damage. That's a serious decrease.
+ 720/798 HP + 2-5 Damage + Type: Xustulian + Level: 22 + XP: 3,542/17,710 + XP Rate: 30%
Can your starter pet, Pet Rock, ever attack!? I've got mine to level 3 and it still says: “0-0”.
Pet rocks cant attack thats why its called an rock, use an butterfly net to catch a pet and use it instead
sorry to say but yes pet rock can attack but only on level 11
Rock can attack and become pretty much as powerful as any other pet. The difference in pets is a flat amount that become negligible at high levels. Basically from lvl 1-10 pets gain 0 attack per lvl, 11-20 they gain 1 attack, 21-30 they gain 2 atk, etc. This is why Rock gains its first 1 dmg at lvl 11. Since all pets have this same scaling even Rock can become strong. For example, Rock at lvl 1000 deals 49500-49500 Damage and Green Dragon at level 1000 deals 49525-49650, not much of a difference.
How do I switch what pet I'm using??
You catch a new one :)
Every time i try to catch it says “I tried to catch a potato but it failed” plz help
“The catch rate for pets is (user.level*5.678)/10 percent.”
So chance is really low if you are low level. Like I'm level 5 and I have roughly a 3% chance to catch one.
+ Dealt 596 HP Damage. + Fenrir dealt 96 HP damage. - Fenrir took 51 HP Damage. + Fenrir has 2,321/2,625 HP left
It seems some of them are fixed.
They need to fix the thing where you can catch a Pet at Lv.5, but need a Fishing net which you need string for, which you need wool for, which you use #!trap to get, but need to be Lv. 15 to use
you can buy a butterfly net off the global market for roughly 9-10K which is really easy to get just keep selling your inventory, if your playing with friends make a guild and transfer money. message me on [email protected] and ill add you and pay you if you need it.
what are the odds for catching? im trying to catch a ploirgh, but would like some type of table that shows me the odds rn ive tried to catch it like 10 times (pretty high health, if that matters) but no luck yet
*200 times
The catch rate for pets is (user.level*5.678)/10 percent.
Monster Data
All monsters after level 21 are randomly generated with random names, hp, and currently has a bug that makes their damage lower than they should be.
DiscordRPGBOT - Today at 12:54 PM BADEVIL caught a level 30 Grat!
+ Grat dealt 3 HP damage. + Grat dealt 4 HP damage. + Grat dealt 5 HP damage. + Grat dealt 6 HP damage. + Grat dealt 7 HP damage.
